Bright Futures is the biggest career focused society in the UK.
How did it come about?
The society was established in 1977 by a group of students in Cambridge University.
It was big and popular in the 90s known with the name Student Industrial Society (SIS).
In 2006, the society was re-branded and became Bright Futures, as we all know it today.
The growth has been remarkable: from 16 societies around the UK in 2006 to 55 societies in the UK in September 2013.
It is still growing and here at Lancaster it's making the different to help students stand out and get a really good job at the end of uni!
